From “Typical Expat Wife” to “Working Expat Wife.”
In August 2025, Re-Table was founded.
With the mission of “nurturing the power to live, starting from the dining table”,
we provide a wide range of food-related support and educational activities
for both individuals and corporate clients.
I was born in 1982. After graduating from university,
I began my career at an advertising agency, and later returned to school to study documentary filmmaking.
Creating documentaries opened my eyes to the beauty and depth of people’s lives.
In 2019, I moved to Manila in the Philippines as an expatriate and experienced pregnancy
and childbirth amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2022, my family relocated to Bangkok, Thailand,
where I began working on recipe development and culinary video styling for major food companies.
Now living in Bangkok with my husband, two children, and two dogs,
I continue to focus my work on the themes of
“a dining table that connects life” and “cooking with someone in mind.”
My journey has been shaped by many turning points—
childhood bullying due to obesity, a miscarriage,
my husband’s serious illness, and the challenges of giving birth and raising children during the pandemic.
Each experience taught me that the power of food is a quiet yet profound force that can restore,
heal, and help us begin again.
The question “What can I do?” continues to be the driving force behind everything I do today.
